Almost four years ago, Tony and I flew into Eugene Oregon and drove into this wonderful town in the mountains on highway 36 (which I’ve heard referred to as hippie highway due to the number of communes) called Deadwood. We were there to look at some property for a potential commune. It was a gorgeous property with a few houses on it, and I had brought my camera along to take lots of pictures. There was a particular magnolia tree which caught my attention and I took quite a few pictures of that tree. I have made many pieces from the pics I took that day, and especially of the magnolia tree. And every time I think I’m done with that series, I see an image that I never saw before and need to work with it. So, enough background. Here’s the latest of that series. Taken with my Canon 7D, edited in Adobe Photoshop CC.
